Samsung launched the Galaxy J7 Pro in India back in June alongside the Galaxy J7 Max. The Galaxy J7 Max went on sale that month itself for Rs. 17,990, but the Galaxy J7 Pro was slated for a mid-July release.

However, after a short delay, the Galaxy J7 Pro is now available for purchase in India. It is available from Samsung India's eStore and Amazon India, and carries a price tag of Rs. 20,990. It should also be available in the offline market soon. It is available in Black and Gold hues.

To recap the the specs, the Galaxy J7 Pro comes with 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 13MP front and rear camera with LED flash and 3600mAh battery.

It runs Android Nougat and supports Samsung Pay Mini. There's also dedicated slots for dual-SIMs, and microSD card.

The Galaxy J line is the most important series for Samsung, as it has helped the company retain the top position in the India smartphone market in Q2, 2017, with 25 percent share of the market.
