OnePlus 5 Limited Edition phone designed by French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac announced

OnePlus has collaborated with French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac for the launch of limited edition 'Callection' line collection, which include a slew of products like holsters, bags, caps, t-shirts and a limited-edition OnePlus 5 JCC+. The products have been co-created with JCC, and includes Castelbajac's signature poetic and chromatic style.

The castelbjac inspired OnePlus 5 will be available for purchase exclusively in Europe from October 2 from OnePlus.net for EUR 559 (Rs. 43,000). It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, and design-wise has a new back cover and colored hardware buttons (Blue power button, red volume rocker and yellow notification slider brings). It also comes pre-loaded with 10 exclusive hand drawn wallpapers from the fashion designer.

Regarding the OnePlus 5 JCC+ edition, OnePlus says "JCC has created a unique re-imagining of the OnePlus 5 that is sure to blow away fans of both OnePlus and JCC himself. Using his signature color combination of red, yellow, and blue, JCC has given the device a distinct appearance featuring strikingly colored buttons and a deep black body. Finally, he created a custom engraving to give the back of the device a sleek final touch that embodies his avant-garde style. Bringing the master’s vision to life took over 1,300 button trials, more than 20 different color combinations, and 9 levels of laser engraving"

OnePlus has also once again teamed up with fashion boutique, Colette, to host pop-up event at it store in Paris on September 22 at 11am CET to kick off its 'Callection' collection. To recall, last year OnePlus teamed with with Colette to launch a limited edition Colette engraved OnePlus 3T. The ‘Callection’ collection will also be available for purchase in Europe on OnePlus.net.

OnePlus has also confirmed that Castelbajac inspired OnePlus 5 will not release in India. However, interested customers can by the limited edition "Callection" and "Never Settle" T-shirts for Rs. 1,999, and tote bag for Rs. 1,599 starting October 2 via OnePlusstore.in.
