Moto X4 finally launching in India on November 13


The Moto X4 was expected to release in India earlier this month on October 3, but that did not happen due to some unspecified reason, and the local launch was postponed. 

Now the company has announced that the Moto X4 will launch in India on November 13. The company did not specify the reason for the delay. One possible reason could be that Motorola plans to bring Android One edition of Moto X4 to the country.

To recap the specs, the Moto X4 features 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage, 3000mAh battery, USB Type-C, 4G LTE and fingerprint scanner.

It comes with dual cameras at the rear comprising of a 12MP sensor with dual autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4µm pixel size plus an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and 120-degree field of view. The dual-cameras will have the ability to add depth of field effects, take portraits and black & white image, much like other  dual-camera phones and are further assisted by 4K video recording, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash.  For selfies you get 16MP shooter on the front.

Other notable features are Bluetooth 5.0, metal and glass design, IP68 water and dust resistance rating, TurboCharging and selfie flash. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and will be receiving the Oreo update in the coming months.
