Sony Xperia Z4 Gets Certified In Japan

Sony's next flagship, Xperia Z4 has been certified in Japan in three versions for NTT DoCoMo, Softbank and KDDI Carriers Mobile networks.

The versions that were certified are PM 0792-BV, PM-0793-BV, PM-0794-BV. All three variants will support VoLTE and LTE along with the usual connectivity features like Wi-Fi, b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Xperia Z4 is rumored to feature a 5.4-inch display, A 64-bit, 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, Adreno 430 GPU, 4GB RAM, 20.7-megapixel rear camera and 4.8-megapixel front-facing camera, 3420 mAh battery and Qi wireless charging. It will run Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Other two variants of the Xperia Z4 range are Xperia Z4 Ultra and Z4 Compact.

The Xperia Z4 compact will feature a 4.7-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other features include a 20.7-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and enhanced stereo speakers, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC. It should also be water-resistant and support wireless charging. The device will be powered by 3,000mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Xperia Z4 Ultra will  sport a massive 6.44-inch Quad HD display, a 16-megapixel camera, 4GB of RAM, stylus and a much biggger battery capacity  said to be between 3,500 and 4,000mAh. . Other features are similar to the Z4 Compact.

There is no official word from Sony on when the Xperia Z4 will be launched. It is expected to be announced during MWC 2015.
