Ultra-Thin Oppo R5 Smartphone Now Available At Rs. 29,990 In India
Oppo's R5 smartphone which went up for pre-orders on January 1 in India is now available for purchase via retail stores across the country for Rs. 29,990. With its 4.85mm thickness, the Oppo R5 was the slimmest smartphone in the world until the launch of Vivo X5Max which is 4.75mm thick.
The Oppo R5 features a 5.2-inch full-HD AMOLED display and is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Aadreno 405 and is coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage [no microSD card support]. It runs OPPO’s ColorOS 2.0, with Android KitKat as the base.
Camera features include a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX 214 sensor and a Schneider lens and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, TD LTE, LTE FDD, and Micro-USB. Note that there is no audio jack, you will have to use bundled Micro-USB to the audio jack adapter or the wireless O-music accessory. The device is backed by 2000mAh battery, and it supports VOOC charging technology which charge your phone battery from 0 to 75 percent in 30 minutes.
Oppo
has been busy this week. It launched two new smartphone - Oppo Mirror 3
and Oppo R1C in Vietnam and China respectively. There are no details of
availability in other markets. Oppo is also expected to announce the U3 smartphone soon.
