Xolo launched a new budget Android smartphone, 8X-1020 in India at a price tag of Rs. 9,999. The handset will be available in black colour and is listed in the company's site. The company has not released details on the availability of the phone yet.

The Xolo 8X-1020 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592) processor paired with 1GB RAM and Mali 450 MP GPU. It comes with 8GB internal storage which supports microSD card upto 32GB. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

Camera features include an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Exmor R sensor and 5-megapixel front facing camera. The camera features include scene detection, face recognition, low light enhancement, Panorama, geo tagging, burst shot, smile shot, and HDR options.

Connectivity features include dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE and Mucro-USB. It is backed by 2500mAh. It includes sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
