ZTE Announce Blade V2 With Snapdragon 410 Processor And 5-megapixel Front Camera

Chinese phone manufacturer ZTE announced its latest handset Blade V2 in China. There is no detail on the pricing and global availability of the handset, and it is not yet listed by the company's website. ZTE claims that "Blade V2 impresses users with an attractive exterior and unforgettable touch experience, making it a product you would not part with."

The ZTE Blade V2 features a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels screen resolution. The handset is powered by a quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with microSD card support.

Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and CMOS sensor and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE Cat. 4, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/ A-GPS. The handset is backed by 2400mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

In related news, ZTE announced a 94.2% growth in full-year profit to 2.64 billion yuan ($424.5 million). ZTE acheived this by offering handsets with decent specs at prices that undercut international competitiors.
