Huawei C199S With 5.5-inch HD Display, 64-Bit CPU Launched in China

Huawei launched a new Android phone dubbed C199S in China. The device is a large screen metal clad phablet and is successor to last year's C199.

The Huawei C199S features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 screen resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It packs 2GB RAM and houses 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card upto 32GB. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with EMUI 3.0 skin on top.

Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and GPS/ A-GPS. It is backed by 3000mAh battery.
 

The Huawei C199S is priced at CNY 2,299 (Rs. 23,000) and the company will sell the device through its online store Vmall in China. There are no details on when it will release worldwide.
