iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus and iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D Launched in India


Indian handset manufacturer iBall launched two new midrange smartphones called iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus and Cobalt Oomph in India. 

The iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus comes with OGS (One Glass Solution) technology along with Octa-core pocessor and can be upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future. The company states the handset is "Inspired by the exclusive needs of consumers, iBall Cobalt Solus is the prodigy of our constant endeavor to understand the consumer prerequisites. It’s the perfect embodiment of Style and Performance packed in with 8 unique features to build a loftier smartphone experience."

The iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus features 5-inch IPS display, 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex A7 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera and a 2250mAh battery that runs the show.

The iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D is not yet officially launched by the company, but Mumbai-based mobile retailer Mahesh telecom revealed the price and specification of the handset. The Cobalt Oomph 4.7D features a large circular home button and resembles the design of iPhone.


It features 4.7-inch IPS HD display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front facing camera, 1850mAh battery and the usual suite of connectivity features. It runs Android KitKat 4.4, which comes with good news, the company promises to update the handset to Android 5.0 Lollipop in future with no timeline specified.

The iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus is priced at Rs. 11,499 and is now available across India via leading retail stores. The iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D is priced at Rs. 7,999 and is expected to launch in India soon.

In addition iBall also launched its latest Android tablet - Slide Brace X1 for Rs. 17,999. The tablet houses dual chambered speaker which provide theatrical experience
