Oppo R5 Gilded Limited Edition With Gold Frame Launched In India For Rs. 29,990

Oppo India launched a Glided Limited Edition of its slimmest smartphone R5. The Limited Edition is priced at Rs. 29,990 and will be available for pre-booking across India starting February 20. The talking point of the smartphone is its Gold frame. The company states that the Gold frame on the R5 has been forged nine times and then finished by hand to give a perfect sheen and feel.

Only 10,000 units of the Oppo R5 Glided Limited Edition will be made available globally.  There are no details on how many units will be available for the Indian market.

The Oppo R5 Glided Limited Edition comes with the same specification as the original. The device has a thickness of just 4.85mm and is Oppo's slimmest smartphone till date.

The Oppo R5 Glided Limited Edition features 5.2-inch AMOLED display, 64-Bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera, 2000mAh battery. The handset supports Single Micro-SIM, runs Android 4.4 KitKat with ColorOS 2.0.1 on top and features the usual suite of connectivity.
