Acer Liquid M220 with Windows Phone 8.1 and Low-end specs announced


Besides the three new Android smartphones  Acer also unveiled a Windows Phone dubbed  Liquid M220 at MWC 2015. The Liquid M220 is an entry level smartphone with low-end specs that won't blow you away.

The low priced Liquid M220 is a dul-SIM smartphone and  features a 4-inch (480x800) display. It is powered by an 1.2Ghz dual-core processor. It packs 512MB RAM and houses 4GB internal storage with microSD card support.

At the back there is a 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and on the front a 2-megapixel camera for taking selfies. A 1300mAh battery runs the show on Liquid M220.


The Acer Liquid M220 will ship with Windows 8.1, and can run Windows 10 OS when it will be made available later this year. It will be available in Mystic black and pure white colour options.

The Acer Liquid M220 will be available in select European market starting April and will cost 79 Euros. There are no details on its global availability.
