Acer Announce Liquid Leap+ Smartband with multi-OS support

Acer also announced an upgraded version Liquid Leap smartband called Acer Liquid Leap+ at MWC 2015 alongside the Android and Windows Phones. The band is compatible with all three mobile platforms -  Android, iOS and Windows devices. 

The Acer Liquid Leap+ sports a 1-inch OLED touchscreen display (128x32pixels) (no physical buttons) which lets you control music, set alarm and display notification from your smartphone. It can also monitor your activity and sleep patterns, number of steps taken, burned calories and swimming pool activities. All these activities are monitored in the companion Leap Manager app on your smartphone.

The smartband communicates with your smartphone over a low-energy Bluetooth 4.0. It is IPX7-certified water resistant and the battery life is estimated to last up to 5-7 days. The Liquid Leap+ will come in a variety of colours - Mineral Black, Electric Green and Fragrant Pink

The Acer Liquid Leap+ will be sold in Middle East, Europe and Africa region and is priced at 79 euros ($88 | Rs. 5,500)
