Apple Watch pricing and availability details revealed

Apple at its Spring Forward event revealed the price of the Apple watch. The price of the Apple Watch will be starting from $350 to a whooping $17,000 for the luxurious gold Apple Watch Edition.

Apple Watch will be available in three versions - Apple Watch sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition. All of the versions come in two sizes a larger 42mm and a smaller 38mm.

The Apple Watch Sport is made out of custom aluminum alloy that is 60 per cent tougher. The 38mm and 42mm will be priced at $350 and $ 400 respectively. It will be offered in white, blue, green pink and black bands.

The Apple Watch collection will have a stainless steel grey or black case and a wide selection of bands. Price starts at $549 for the 38mm and $599 for the 42mm variant with pricing ranging up to $1059 (38mm) and $1099 (42mm) depending on its band material. Finally, the Apple Watch Edition is the most expensive model and comes in eight versions with pricing ranges from $10,000 to $17,000. Here's the list

Apple says that the premium Apple Watches are limited edition and will one be available in select retail stores.

The pre-orders for the Apple Watch will start on April 10. On the same date Apple Watch will be available for preview in Apple's official stores. The Apple Watch will start shipping from April 24 to US, UK, China, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Hong Kong.
