Huawei Honor 6 Plus to launch in India on March 24


Huawei at the sidelines of MWC 2015, Barcelona announced that the Honor 6 Plus smartphone will be launched in India by the end of this month. At the time of announcement the company did not reveal the launch date.

Now, Huawei has revealed that the Honor 6 Plus smartphone will be launched in India on March 24 and will be Flipkart exclusive.

The Huawei Honor 6 Plus made its debut in China in December last year. It was priced at 1999 yuan ($325 | Rs. 20,500). There are no details on pricing for India, but it is expected to be priced around Rs. 18,000 - 20,000

The USP of Honor 6 Plus is its 8-megapixel rear and front camera. The company claims that it is the world's first bionic parallel dual lens camera and offers great image quality.

The dual parallel 8-megapixel rear camera allows ultra-focus speed of 0.1 seconds and records panoramic imaging. It has a Sony 8-megapixel BSI sensor front camera which is "delight for every selfie lover" as its is equipped with 10-level auto face enhancement and a feature called panoramic Selfie.

Coming to the other specs it features a 5.5-inch full HD display (1080x1920pixels) and is powered by an octa-core Kirin 925 processor with Mali T628 GPU. It houses 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and microSD card slots (accepts microSD card upto 128GB). The handset is backed by 3600mAh battery and support 4G LET. It runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with Emotion 3.0 UI on top.
