ZTE Schedules Nubia Z9 Launch Event For March 26 in China


ZTE posted a teaser on its official Weibo page revealing that the company will hold an event on March 16 where it is expected to announce its next flagship device Nubia Z9 alongside Nubia Z9 Max.

The Nubia Z9 Max was recently shown off at a closed event at the MWC 2015. It sports a metal and glass body. It features a 5.5-inch full HD LCD display and is powered by Snapdragon 810 processor. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. It houses 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor and LED flash. Rest of the details will be revealed on the launch day.


The Nubia Z9 will replace the Nubia Z7. The Nubia Z7 was launched last year and featured 5.5-inch QuadHD display and 3GB of RAM, along other top of the line specs Some far the rumored specs of Nubia Z9 are 3GB or 4GB RAM, 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and will run Android Lollipop. Coming to its design the device is rumored to sport very slim bezels and we can expect metal materials to be included in the device's build.


That is all we know for now. More details will be revealed when ZTE will take the wraps off the devices on March 26th at an event in Beijing Performing Arts Centre in China.
