Lava Iris Alfa L with 5.5-inch display, Android 5.0 Lollipop launched in India for Rs. 8,000
Lava's latest budget offering is the Iris Alfa L, the successor to the Iris Alfa that was launched earlier this year in January. The smartphone is listed on company's website for Rs. 8,000.
The Lava Iris Alfa L features 5.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) IPS display and under the hood there is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor paired with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage and for storage expansion there is a microSD card slot that accepts up to 32GB cards. The smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Camera features include 8-megapixel autofocus PureCel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It also has dual speakers.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and USB 2.0. A 3000mAh battery runs the Lava Iris Alfa L. It measures 152x78.9x9.35, weighs 165grams, available in White and Metallic Grey color options and comes with an optional flip cover that costs Rs. 399.
