Microsoft's most affordable smartphone to-date Lumia 430 Dual SIM launched in India for Rs. 5,299


Microsoft's latest offering to the Indian market is the most affordable Lumia handset to date, the Lumia 430 Dual SIM. The handset is priced at Rs. 5,299 and will be available in the country from Thursday.

Microsoft Lumia 430 Dual-SIM runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim Update. The device will get Windows 10 update later this year when the OS is released. It comes preloaded with Microsoft office suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The Lumia 430-Dual SIM features 4-inch WVGA (800x480) LCD display offering pixel density of 235ppi. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor paired with 1GB RAM.

It houses 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot (supports up to 128GB microSD card) and comes with 30GB free OneDrive cloud storage.

Camera features include 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 Micro-USB connector, A-GPS+GLONASS and WLAN 802.11 b/g/n. It also includes Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light Sensor.

A 1500mAh battery runs the show on Lumia 430 Dual-SIM that is rated to deliver standby time of 24 days, talk time of up to 7.6 hours on GSM and 8.4 hours on 3G. It measures 120.5x63.19x10.63mm, weighs 127.9 grams and will be available in Bright Orange or Black color options.

The Lumia 430 Dual SIM comes bundles with several several freebies that includes-
