Alleged image and specs of Sony Lavender leaked

Last week Sony launched a selfie-focused smartphone dubbed Xperia C4 and now it looks like the company is about to introduce yet another selfie-focused smartphone.

@Upleaks has shared details of an upcoming Sony's selfie focused smartphone codenamed Lavender. The serial leaker shared specs and image of the smartphone.

In the leaked image we can see the front camera with LED flash on the upper right corner which looks similar to the Xperia C3 and C4 setup. The handset seems to have razor-thin bezels. There is also stereo speaker on the front on top and bottom.

The specs are similar to that of Xperia C4, but with a better front camera and a larger display.

According to @Upleaks, Sony Lavender will feature FHD display. The display size is unknown but it will be bigger than Xperia C4 (5.5-inch). The handset will be powered by 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor paired with Mali-T760 processor and 2GB RAM. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and some models of Sony Lavender will come with dual-SIM support. It may come with 16GB internal storage.

The Sony Xperia C4 featured 13-megapixel camera on the rear and 5-megapixel on the front.

The Sony Lavender also features 13-megapixel rear camera, but the improvement over Xperia C4 here is the front camera. It features 13-megapixel front camera. Both rear camera and front camera will have LED flash and employ Sony's popular IMX214 sensor. The added LED flash on the front is sure to attract selfie-loving crowd.

At this point the price and official announcement date of Sony Lavender is still a mystery.
