Asus ZenBook UX305 ultrabook launched in India for Rs. 49,999

ASUS brought the company's latest ultrabook dubbed ZenBook UX305 to the Indian market. It runs Windows 8.1(64-bit), has a thickness of 12.3mm and weighs 1.2kg. The keyboard is backlit to allow it to be used in all lightning conditions and the touchpad supports gesture contol

Asus's ZenBook UX305 features 13.3-inch FHD (1920x1080 pixels) LED Back-lit display. Under the hode there is an 2.0GHz Intel Core M-5Y10 processor (Cached memory 4MB)  paired with 4GB DDR3 RAM and Intel HD graphics 5300. For storage there is a 256GB SATA3 SSD.

Connectivity options include support for WiFi 802.11agn  (Dual band)-,Bluetooth 4.0, Intel WIDI, HDMI 1.4, SDXC and headphone/audio-in combo jack. There is also a SDXC card reader and 3x USB 3.0, one of the ports support Asus's Charger+ technology for quick charging of devices. It comes with 3-cell Li-ion Polymer battery that offers battery life of up to 10 hours.

During heavy usage the ultrabook's thermal management design and IceCool technology keeps it from reaching high temperature. It also comes with Asus Sonic Master audio and Bank & Olufsen ICE power technology for enhanced sound experience.

The Asus ZenBook UX305 will be available via Flipkart and Asus exclusive store starting May 15 for Rs. 49,999. It comes in Obsidian Stone and Ceramic Alloy colors.
