Asus ZenFone 2 firmware update rolling out OTA


Asus has started rolling out FOTA (Firmware update Over-The-Air) update for its ZenFone 2 series. The update will bring several new features along with stability in system, improvements in memory usage and camera quality and many more.

In addition the update also includes 100GB of free Google Drive cloud storage space (only worldwide variant), and new Smart Cover function support.

Asus ZenFone 2 series owners will be notified for the FOTA update which they can install right away. After getting update notification select "Yes, Download" option and once the download process is over select "Install now". In case you miss the update, you can check it manually on their smartphone by going to Settings>About>System update> Check Now.

It is worth noting that the roll-out process is carried out in phases, so it will take time to reach.
