iBall mSLR Cobalt 4 smartphone with four detachable lenses launched for Rs. 8250
According to Mumbai-based mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom iBall has launched a new smartphone dubbed mSLR Cobalt 4 in India. The company is yet to officially announce the smartphone.
The main highlight of the mSLR Cobalt 4 is that it comes with a detachable mSLR lens mount as well as four different lenses. The four different lenses include a zoom lens with 8x zoom, a fisheye lens with 175-180 degree viewing angle, a macro lens with 10x magnification and minimum object distance of 10-15mm and wide-angle lens with 130-degree veiwing angles.
As far as specs are concerned, the iBall mSLR Cobalt 4 features 5-inch IPS qHD display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB microSD card, runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and supports 15 regional languages.
Camera features include 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, autofocus and 3.2-megapixel front facing camera with soft LED flash. There is also a free clip to mount the lens (that comes bundled) on the front camera for clicking quality selfies.
Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, HotKnot and dual-SIM support. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery.
The iBall mSLR Cobalt 4 is priced at Rs. 8,999 but according to Mahesh Telecom, it will be available across the country at a discounted price of Rs 8,250. The company is also bundling more goodies including free pouch, protective case and cleaning cloth for the lenses with the smartphone.
