LG unveils G4 Stylus and G4c smartphones


LG announced the launch of two new memebers of the G4 family dubbed LG G4c and LG G4 Stylus. Both run Android 5.0 Lollipop with LG's new UX 4.0 on top.

The LG G4 Stylus was introduced as G Stylo in Korea last month. It comes in two variants - 3G and 4G LTE. The 4G LTE variant is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU while the 3G variant is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core processor.

Both variants feature 5.7-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD IPS display and includes LG's Rubberdium Stylus, that allows easy note taking and drawing on the big sized screen. They come with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot for storage expansion options.

The G4 Stylus 4G LTE is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera, the 3G variant is equipped with 8-megapixel rear camera. Both have 5-megapixel camera on the front. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n,  Bluetooth 4.1, NFC,  A-GPS, Glonass and USB 2.0. 

A 3000mAh battery fuels the LG G4 Stylus, the battery is removable. It measures 154.3 x 79.2 x 9.6mm, weighs 163 grams and will be available in Metallic Silver and Floral White colors.

The LG G4c offers premium features and styling in a more compact form factor. It sports 5-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot for storage expansion options.

Camera features include 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, A-GPS, Glonass and USB 2.0. It is backed by 2540mAh battery (removable). The device measures 139.7 x 69.8 x 10.2mm, weighs 136 grams and will be available in Metallic Gray, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold colors.

 The LG G4 Stylus and LG G4c will start rolling out next week throughout the month of May. The company said that the prices of the handsets and additional availability details will be announced locally at the time of launch.
