Xolo Prime with Android 5.0 Lollipop launched at Rs. 5,699
Xolo launched its latest budget smartphone for the Indian market dubbed Xolo Prime. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 5699 and be available via retail outlets soon in the country.
The Xolo Prime features 4.5-inch IPS display wth 854x480 pixels screen resolution and offers a pixel density of 218ppi. It sports a glass finish rear panel. Under the hood there is 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor paired with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM.
The smartphone houses 8GB of internal storage and for storage expansion there is a microSD card slot present that accepts up to 32GB cards. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
Camera features include 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and support for Dual-SIM.
The Xolo Prime is backed by 1800mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 20.8 hours of talk time on 2G networks and 10 hours on 3G, 500 hours of standby time on 2G and 400 hours on 3G. It measures 136x68x9.5mm and will be available in Black, Blue, Red and Gold color options.
The Xolo Prime will compete with recently launched Yu Yuphoria, Micromax Canvas Spark, Huawei Honor Bee and Moto E for the top spot in the budget smartphone segment.
