Asus unveils four new Mini PCs - Chromebox CN62, VivoPC VC65, VivoMini UN65H and UN45

ASUS, at the ongoing Computex 2015  unveiled four new Mini PCs - Chromebox CN62 , the only Mini PC with Chrome OS, and the new ASUS VivoPC VC65 , VivoMini UN65H and UN45.

The Chromebox CN62 sports fifth-generation Intel processors. It supports supports 4K video playback, and connects to wireless AC router with  802.11ac WiFi. It is now quiter and more efficient than ever, idling at just 17dB, while drawing just 6W of power. It is the successor to the original Asus Chromebox (launched February last year) that incorporated Intel Haswell processor.


The VivoPC VC65 runs Windows 8 and is upgradable to Windows 10. It will feature 6th-gen, Intel Core "Skylake" processor. It supports both SSD hard drives in RAID configuration. Asus says you can use the computer as a media PC, a server, or network-attached storage device. It will not be on sale befor the end of the year or even early 2016.
The VivoMini UN65H will be equipped with an Intel Core processor with Iris Pro graphics. There is support for M.2 SSD and / or 2.5-inch hard disk and WiFi 802.11ac.
The VivoMini UN45 is little thinner than the UN65H and is a fanless system with passive cooling. Considering this feature it is expected to be equipped with a less powerful processor such a Y-Broadwell or Braswell.
