Windows 10 Fall Creators update will be out on October 17


Microsoft has announced that its next major software update to Windows 10, "Windows 10 Fall Creators Update" will release to the public worldwide from October 17.

The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will bring a host of new features like Fluent design system, which adds changes across visuals such as blur effects and transparency. Microsoft says the new design will deliver "intuitive, harmonious, responsive and inclusive cross-device experiences and interactions."

Another major addition is support for Windows Mixed Reality, which is Microsoft's virtual and augmented reality experience, and will be built into Falls Creator update. This function will let you connect a Mixed Reality headset to the PC, and interact with apps and games in virtual environment using a pair of motion controllers.

Mixed Reality Headset will be available from companies like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo, and will release on October 17, when the Fall Creators Update ships.. The price starts at $299, and the headsets will also work with affordable Laptops/PC.

Here are some of the other features:
  • Windows Story Remix: Uses AI and deep learning to organize and transform your photos and videos into stories with soundtrack.
  • Microsoft Graph: Aims to sync all your Microsoft app across all platforms, so that you can pick up from where you left on any device, be it Android, Windows or iOS.
  • Timeline: Lets you jump back in time to find what you were working on, whether it was two hours or two months ago. You can easily hop back your files, apps and sites, as if you never left.
  • Pick up where you left off: Log out of one device and Cortana asks if you want to continue working in your app, doc or website on your next device.
  • Clipboard: A fast and easy way to copy and paste just anything between connected devices, whether you are on a Windows PC or smartphone.
  • One Drive Files On-Demand: Access all your files in the cloud without having to download them and use storage space on your device
  • New apps on Windows Store: iTunes, Autodesk, SAP Digital Boardroom
  • Updated Windows Inking: Ink directly into PDFs, making it easier and faster to comment and share with others; Smart Ink applies artificial intelligence to inking automatically makingthe squares you draw more perfect, or turning boxes into a table.
  • Updated Game Mode: Allows your games to use the full processing power of your device, right from a new button on the Game bar.
  • Updated Windows Defender: It is now smarter and defends better than before.
  • Eye Control: Implements eye tracking technology that lets you type, and operate a mouse just using your eyes for those with Lou Gehrig’s disease.
The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be available as a free update for existing Windows 10 users, and is most likely to be rolled out in phases.

Cube i16, a $515 Windows 10 tablet with pen support, Core M3 Skylake SoC


China based tablet maker Cube last year launched the 10.6-inch Cube i7 Windows tablet with Core M Broadwell processor, pen support and 4G RAM. Now the brand has a new model called Cube i16, which comes with a more powerful processor and a USB 3.1 Type-C connector.

The Cube i16 comes with 10.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with pen support and is equipped with Intel Core M3-6Y30 Skylake processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The storage can be increased via microSD card. The tablet comes with 5-megapixel front and rear camera, WiFi ac, HDMI. Bluetooth and is backed by 8600mAh battery. It runs Windows 10.

The Cube i16 tablet can be ordered from AliExpress for $514 (Rs. 34,500).

WhatsApp desktop app for Windows and Mac launched


WhatsApp last year in January launched it web client, which allowed users to access the service on their PCs. Earlier this month it was reported that WhatsApp is working on desktop apps. Now, the popular instant messaging service has officially launched native desktop apps for Windows and Mac desktops, letting you chat with your friends while your phone stays in your pocket.

The desktop app is simply an extension of the mobile app, which mirrors conversation and messages from your mobile devices to your desktop. The desktop app is available for PCs running Windows 8 or higher and Max OS X 10.9 or up.

WhatsApp desktop app offers native desktop notifications, better keyboard shortcuts and more. The UI for the native app is almost similar to that of WhatsApp for Web except for minor tweaks.

It can be downloaded from WhatsApp website from the desktop browser. After installing it on your PC, you will need to scan the QR code using the WhatsApp app on your mobile device. Note that, you'll need the mobile app running on your mobile device for it it work on desktops. With the launch WhatsApp is now running
across all popular platforms in app form.

Lenovo unveils the Ideapad MIIX 310 Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet


Lenovo at MWC 2016 in Barcelona has announced a budget Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet called the Ideapad MIIX 310. It comes with a detachable keyboard dock, so that you can use the tablet as a laptop when docked to the keyboard.

The Lenovo Ideapad MIIX 310 features a 10-inch HD display, with the option of Full HD display, and is powered by Intel Atom X5 8300 processor, aided by an integrated Intel GPU, up to 4GB RAM and comes with up to 64GB internal eMMC storage.

The 2-in-1 tablet houses a micro HDMI port, micro USB 2.0 port and microSD card slot, and supports Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi connectivity. It promises 10 hours of battery life. The detachable keyboard dock house a full size USB 2.0 port.

The Lenovo Ideapad MIIX 310 2-in-1 tablet prices start at $229 and will be available in key markets starting from June.

MeegoPad outs T05 Pro PC stick, T09, T10 mini PCs with Windows 10 and Cherry Trail chip


Chinese device maker MeegoPad has launched three tiny computers, one is a PC-on-Stick and the other two are mini PC running Windows 10 and equipped with Intel Atom Cherry Trail processor.

The MeegoPad T05 Pro PC Stick is a pocket-sized device that can be plugged into the HDMI/VGA port of any TV or monitor to get a full fledged PC experience. It is equipped with an Intel x5-Z8300 processor, 32GB eMMC storage and either 2GB or 4GB RAM. The stick gets 2 x USB 2.0 (full sized), a microSD card reader, headphone jack and micro USB port for power. The PC stick appears to have plenty of ventilation, suggesting that it has a fan under the hood.

The MeegoPad T09 will be available with a choice of Atom x5-Z8300 or x5-Z8500 processor. It has a Ethernet Jack, USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, HDMI port, USB Type-C port for power or another display, microSD card reader and headphone jack. It is said to be marketed as a media box or setup box for use with TV.

The MeegoPad T10 sports a design similar to Intel's NUC unit with 4.1'' x 4.1'' x 1'' measurement. It can be configured with 32GB to 128GB storage and 2GB or 4GB RAM. It houses 3 x USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, Ethernet Jack, microSD card reader, mic and headphone jacks. For wireless connectivity there is Bluetooth and WiFi.

The MeegoPad T05 Pro, T09, T10 whole sale prices are $65, $80 and $70 respectively for order of 10 or more at Alibaba, China's largest online market place.

Haier outs HaierPad W800, W203 Windows 8.1 tablet, HaierPad 971 Android tablet


Haier has launched two Windows 8.1 tablets- HaierPad W800, HaierPad W203 and an Android tablet- HaierPad 971 at CES 2016. The new HaierPad range features an elegant metal finish.

The HaierPad W800 Windows 8.1 tablet features a 8-inch 1280 x 800 display and is powered by Intel's quad-core 1.8GHz Bay Trail T CPU with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage, which is expandable via microSD card. It sports 2-megapixel rear and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera, and supports Bluetooth 4.0, micro-HDMI and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. It is fueled by a 4000mAh battery.

The other Windows 8.1 tablet HaierPad W203 sports a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 pixels display and is powered by quad-core 1.33GHz Intel Z3735F CPU with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. There is also a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Other features include 2MP front & 2MP rear camera, micro-HDMI ports, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. A 8000mAh battery keeps the tablet running. It also comes with a stylus for doodling, note taking and more.

The HaierPad 971 Android tablet comes with a 9.7-inch QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.8GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, further expandable via microSD card slot. It has 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It runs the dated Android 4.4 KitKat and supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and is fueled by 7800mAh battery.

Haier has not revealed the pricing and availability details.

Lenovo ideapad Y900 is a powerful gaming notebook


Lenovo has launched a new gaming laptop, the ideapad Y900 at CES 2016. It is a 17-inch gaming notebook running Windows 10 and offers powerful gaming experience. The Y900 comes with a 'one touch turbo button', when pressed, promises more performance from the processor, RAM and graphics card.

The 17.3-inch IPS display has anti-glare and boasts Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is armed with the latest 6th-generation quad-core Skylake Core i7-K series processor and comes with NVIDIA GTX 980M GPU with 4GB/8GB GDDR5 dedicated RAM. With the help of 4 slots it can be configured with up to 64GB RAM and comes with 512GB SSD or 1TB HDD.

The Y900 comes with 4-in-1 card reader, 3 x USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 ports (w/ always on charging), USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort. It also has dual 2W JBL speakers and 3W Subwoofer with Dolby Home Theater technology. The notebook come with backlit mechanical keyboard with a variety of color options to choose from. The laptop weighs around 4.6kgs and is 1.41-inch thick.

Panasonic Toughbook 20 is a rugged, detachable laptop and tablet

There are lots of 2-in-1 laptop on the market, mostly designed for general consumers, but soon there will be one that can used in extreme environments. Panasonic has introduced the first 2-in-1 rugged laptop with detachable keyboard and display- the Toughbook 20.

The Toughbook 20 is designed to meet MIL-STD-461F for electromagentic interference and MIL-STD-810G for drop, shock, vibration, explosive atmosphere, temperature, humidity, rain and sand, as well as waterproof and dustproof ingress (IP65). It is housed in a magnesium alloy chassis that can be locked and unlocked to secure your data. The chassis  comes with port covers and a raised bezel so that you don't have to worry about dust and water getting inside

It can be used in a number of modes- traditional laptop, detached tablet, tablet flipped 180 degrees while attached for presentations, convertible mode with keyboard attached, built-in carry mode or hanging on a wall, and vehicle mode while the device is on the move

The Panasonic Toughbook 20 features a 10.1-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 800 nit multi-touch display that works even when you’re wearing gloves. There is also support for an  optional active digitizer. Inside there is Intel Core m5-6Y57 vPro processor with a clock speed of 1.1GHz clubbed with 8GB RAM along side 128GB 256GB or 512GB SSD.  It runs Windows 10 Pro, which can be downgraded to Windows 7, should your organization desire the older operating system.

On the tablet there is a USB 3.0 port (optional 2nd USB), micro SDXC card slot, HDMI and micro SIM ports. On the keyboard dock there is three full sized USB ports, HDMI port, VGA port, Ethernet port, serial port and a SDXC card reader. For wireless connectivity there is WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth and options for 4G LTE, NFC and GPS.

There is a 2600mAh removable battery on the tabelt, and there's an option to place a second battery of the same capacity in the keyboard dock to double the life.

Asus launches new A series laptops in India


Asus launched three new models in its 'A-series' of laptops in India- Asus A553, A555LF and A555LA. The A553 is an entry-level offering, while the A555LF and A555LA, are for those who are looking for a more premium design and better configuration. All three models are Windows 10 ready and comes pre-installed with Microsoft DOS.

The Asus A553 sports a 15.6-inch HD (1366 x 768 pixel) display and is equipped with a 2.16GHz quad-core Intel Pentium N3540 processor with Intel HD Graphics 4400, 4GB RAM and 500GB hard drive. There is also a 3-in-1 card reader, RJ45 Lan port, USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port and HDMI port, and for wireless connectivity there is Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. It has a VGA webcam.

The Asus A555LF and A555LA also features 15.6-inch HD display and are equipped with 1.7GHz dual-core Intel Core i3-4005U processor with Intel HD Graphics 4400 GPU, 4GB RAM and 1TB hard drive. Both come with come with two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, HDMI port, VGA port, RJ 45 LAN port and support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options. They also have a 3-in-1 card reader, VGA Web Camera and a Multi DVD drive.

So, what's the difference between Asus A555LF and A555LA? The A555lF comes with a choice a discrete Nvidia GeForce 930M 2GB DDR3 GPU, and an Intel i5-5200U processor. 

The Asus 553 is prices start at 23,900 and comes in Purple, Pink, White and Black colors. The Asus A555LAF is prices start at Rs. 34,190 and comes in Purple, Pink, White and Black colors. The Asus A555LA comes in Dark Brown, Red, Yellow, Blue, Black and White colors, prices start at Rs. 28,990.

Panasonic launches 20-inch 4K 'Toughpad FZ-Y1' rugged tablet for Rs 2.4 lakhs


Panasonic launched the Toughpad FZ-Y1, a rugged Windows powered tablet in India. The tablet is aimed at professionals in fields where visual clarity and collaboration are essential. It has a scratch resistant glass, which can withstand drop resistance of up to 76cms. The tablet can also work under extreme temperatures from -29 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius.

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 features 20-inch 4K (3840 x 2560 pixels) IPS LCD display and is equipped with Intel Core i5-5300 vPro processor with Intel HD Graphic 5500, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD for storage. It runs Windows 8.1 Pro. 

The tablet has a HD (720p) front camera, USB 3.0 port, Ethernet port, SDXC card slot, MiniDisplay port, HDMI 2.0 port and a headphone jack. There is also an optional cradle accessory available with additional ports including LAN port, HDMI and three USB 3.0 ports. For wireless connectivity there is Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. It is fueled by a 4770mAh battery. The tablet is 12.55mm thick and weighs 2.41kg.

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 is priced at Rs. 2.4 lakhs.

Solt 3-in-1 Windows tablet-laptop hybrid launched for Rs 19,450

Mumbai-based GlobalSpace Technologies launched a 3-in-1 Windows tablet, the Solt in India. It comes with a dock which allows it to be used a laptop or desktop. The dock has keyboard with magnetic dock, a large touch-pad, HDMI port, USB port to connect mouse or keyboard, and a magnetic cover to keep the device safe.

As a stand alone component, Solt features 10.1-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Baytrial Z375G processor clubbed with 2GB RAM. On board storage is 64GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs Windows 8.1 with bing and is upgradable to Windows 10 for free.

On the connectivity front, Solt includes USB 3.0, mini HDMI port, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G for data. It is fueled by 7900mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of life.

The dock component houses four USB ports, an RJ 45 built-in connector, 8W dual surround speaker, up to 1TB storage and a DC 5V/4A power jack. 

There is an app called MySOLT that will give users the ability to control Solt using their Android or Windows smartphone.

The Solt is priced at Rs. 19,450 and will be available via Snapdeal and Amazon. It comes with a one year free device insurance by Oriental Insurance.

KD Interactive, the manufacturer of Kurio tablets, produces interactive and educational technology platforms for children ages 2-14. The company announced two new Kurio Kids devices- Windows based 2-in-1tablet Kurio Smart and Kurio Xtreme 2 Android tablet.

Kurio Smart Windows 2-in-1 tablet is perfect for reading e-books, studying and browsing the web. It comes Microsoft's Family Safety system so that parents can determine which websites, apps and games are suitable for their kids and can monitor's kid's usage and also set time limits. It comes with a one-year subscription to Microsoft Office, 1 terabyte of One Drive cloud storage and more that 40 pre-loaded apps and games worth $200.

Kurio Smart Windows 2-in-1 tablet has a 8-inch touchscreen IPS display and detachable magnetic keyboard which doubles up as hard carry case when closed. Archos Flip Convertible Notebook announced


French brand Archos introduced a new Hybrid laptop that can also be used as a tablet, Archos Flip that sports a similar design to Lenovo Yoga. It runs Windows 10 OS and can be flipped 360 degrees until the notebook transforms to a tablet.

Archos Flip features 11.6-inch HD touchscreen display with 1366 x 768 pixels and is equipped with Intel Atom X5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is a 2-megapixel front facing camera for video calling. On the connectivity front it supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB 3.0  and GPS. It is fueled by 8000mAh battery.

Archos Flip is priced at  €249 ($280) and will hit the market in November. The company will present the Archos Flip at the IFA trade show in Berlin in September alongside Archos 50 Cesium Windows 10 phone and Archos Diamond S, 50e Helium Android phones.

Tronsmart Ara X5 Windows 10 mini PC with Cherry Trial SoC available for $150


In China, Tronsmart is one of the most popular mini PC maker. Last month the company introduced a new Windows 10 mini PC / TV Box in the form of Tronsmart Ara X5. Now the little PC is available for purchase via Geekbuying for $150.

Tronsmart Ara X5 measures just 4.7 x 4.5 x 11 inches in size. Inside there is Cherry Trail Z8300 quad-core 1.8 processor, further aided by Intel HD GPU, 2GB RAM and has a storage capacity of 32GB.

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 with 32GB storage, Windows 10 now available for $190

Acer introduced a new line of affordable notebooks branded Aspire One Cloudbook. Under the series, the company launched Aspire One Cloudbook 11 (two storage models- 16GB/32GB) and Aspire One Cloudbook 14 (two storage models- 32GB/64GB) with Windows 10 pre-installed.

Now, Acer has started to sell the Aspire One Cloudbook 11 32GB model for $190 and is available at Acer's website. 

It features 11.6-inch (1366 x 768 pixels) LED back display and is equipped with1.6GHz Intel Celeron N3050 dual-core Braswell processor with 2GBRAM DDR3L RAM. It offers HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and microSD card slot. On the connectivity front they support WiFi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0 and has Dual digital microphones for a better Cortana experience. Other features include mineral gray cover with dotted textile pattern for tactile feedback, full-sized chiclet keyboard and large touchpad supporting Windows 10 gestures. Acer is also offering 1-year subscription of Office 365 Personal and up to 1TB OneDrive online storage.

There is now word on when the 16GB storage model of Aspire One Cloudbook 11 will go on sale. Acer also plans to launch the Aspire One Cloudbook 14 (32GB) for $199.99 sometimes in September. It offers the same innards, but has a 14-inch display.

Teclast X98 Pro is a 9.7-inch Windows 10 tablet with Atom X5 SoC

Chinese tablet manufacturer Teclast launched  the X98 Pro tablet, the first to utilise Intel’s Atom X5 Cherry Trail T4 Z8500 SoC. It runs Windows 10 Home Edition and features the new Start screen, Cortana virtual assistant and Continuum synchronization across Windows-based devices.

Teclast X98 Pro features 9.7-inch QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) multi-touch display and is powered by 2.24GHz quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8500 Cherry Trail processor with 4GB RAM and64GB storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 64GB. Camerawise, it sports 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front shooter. It supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. There is also a Micro HDMI port, micro USB 2.0 port and stereo speaker. It is fueled by a massive 8000mAh battery.

With the specs in offer, Teclast X98 Pro is priced at CNY 1399 ($225), cheaper than surface 3 Pro that offers almost same specs for $499. It is available for pre-order from Geekbuying or AliExpress.  

Teclast also have plans for Dual Boot system and a 4G LTE model, so an X98 Pro 4G and dual OS models are to follow the X98 Pro Windows 10 tabelt.

Lenovo Thinkpad P50 and P70 mobile workstations with Intel Xeon chips announced

Lenovo has announced two mobile workstations in the in the new ThinkPad P series, the ThinkPad P50 and P70. These are aimed at high-end professionals looking for mobile workstations. Both are mil-spec tested for maximum durability and are ISV certified.

The ThinkPad P50 and P70 features 15.6-inch and 17-inch 4K UHD display that comes with X-Rite Pantone color calibration keeping colors accurate throughout the life of the product. They are powered by Intel Xeon E3-1500M v5 processor with NVIDIA Quadro graphics. They are loaded with up to 64GB ECC DDR4 RAM, support for up to four storage device and upto 1TB PCIe SSD. Both the machines run Windows 10 and include DVD-RW drive, which can be removed for an additional SSD up to 512GB or a up to 1TB mechanical drive.

Other features include four USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, mini-Display Port, Gigabith Ethernet, two Intel Thunderbolt 3 ports, an Express card slot, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and a docking connector. The ThinkPad P50 and P70 also features FLEX performance cooling system with dual-fan design offering cooler, quieter and faster performance.

The ThinkPad P50 is packed by a 4 cell, 66Whr battery and weighs 2.5kg. It supports three storage device, one Thunderbolt 3 port and lacks DVD-RW drive. The ThinkPad P70 is backed by 8 cell, 96 Whr battery, measures 1.2-inch think and weighs 3.4kg.

The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 prices start from $1,599 and the P70 begins at $1,999. They will be available in Q4 2015.

Shuttle XS 3500BB V4 fanless mini PC released

Shuttle is best knows for making small form-factor PCs and PC cases. It has introduced Shuttle XS 3500BB V4 that takes the form of a fanless PC that is equipped with quad-core processor and comes with Windows OS pre-installed.
 

The Shuttle XS 3500BB V4 comes with a Celeron J1900 processor with Intel HD graphics (7th gen), 2GB RAM and 32GB SSD. It runs 64-bit Windows 8.1 with Bing and is upgradable to Windows 10.
 

Other features include HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA Ports, USB 3.0 port, three USB 2.0 ports, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, mic/headset jacks and card reader (SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards support). There is also a microSD card reader and a room in the case that can house 2.5-inch storage drive.
 

Shuttle's fanless mini PC measures 25 x 16 x 3.75cm, weighs 2.1kg and comes with VESA mouth that let you attach the machine to the back of a monitor to create all-in-one PC.

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook running Windows 10 launched

Acer has announced a new line of affordable notebooks branded Aspire One Cloudbook under which it launched the Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and Aspire One Cloudbook 14 running Windows 10.

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and Cloudbook 14 features 11-inch and 14-inch  HD (1366 x 768 pixels) LED back display. Inside there is an 1.6GHz Intel Celeron processor with 2GBRAM DDR3L RAM. Cloud 11 comes with 16GB or 32GB storage while the Cloud 14 comes in either 32GB or 64GB storage models. Both the notebook offer HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and microSD card slot. On the connectivity front they support WiFi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0 and has Dual digital microphones for a better Cortana experience. Other features include mineral gray cover with dotted textile pattern for tactile feedback, full-sized chiclet keyboard and large touchpad supporting Windows 10 gestures.

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and 14 comes with 1-year subscription of Office 365 Personal and up to 1TB OneDrive online storage. They also come with Acer's cloud-enabled abApps, including abPhoto, abMusic, abDocs, and abFiles that will allow users to sync their documents with their devices.

The Aspire One Cloudbook 11 will be available in North America in August with prices starting at US$ 169, followed by EMEA region in September with prices starting at 269 Euros. The Aspire One Cloudbook 14 is will be available in North America in September with prices starting at $199 and in October in EMEA with prices starting from 299 Euros.

Toshiba Encore 10 tablet, Encore 10K 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablets announced

Toshiba has announced two new tablets, one designed for business uses, the Encore 10, the other Encore 10K, a premium 2-in-1 tablet ideal for school. Both are basically twins, the difference being that Encore 10K comes with a keyboard dock, that also functions as an extra battery. They will be available with Windows 10 or Windows 10 professional.

Toshiba Encore 10 and Encore 10K features 10.1-inch Full HD IPS display and is powered by an quad-core Intex Atom X5 processor paired with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM. On-board storage is 64GB, further expandable via MicroSD card.. It supports Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity. There is also a Full HD webcam for video chatting.

In tablet mode (Encore 10) it has, micro HDMI port and micro-USB port and when keyboard is attached (Encore 10K) users get addition connectivity including full-size RGB, HDMI, Gigabit ethernet and three micro USB 3.0 ports.

The Encore 10 delivers up to 7 hours of battery like. The Encore 10K comes with a keyboard dock and offers up to an 11-hour battery life when docked.  They are built with durable magnesium alloy and weighs 590g (without keyboard) and 1kg when combined with keyboard dock.

The Encore 10 is priced at $299 for Windows 10 model and $399 for Windows 10 Professional, the Encore 10K costs $479. Both will be available for purchase from retail stores and ToshibaDirect.com starting mid-September.
