Zotac's latest mini PC, the ZBOX MI551 is the company's first to be equipped with 6th generation Intel Skylake processor, which delivers tremendous speed at a fraction of desktop power consumption.
The ZBOX MI551 is powered by an Intel Core i5-6400T quad-core processor with Intel HD 530 graphics. It houses 2 DDR3L-1600 slots which supports up to 16GB RAM and a 2.5" SATA drive slot and M.2 Sata SSD slot. On the software front, it can run Windows 7, 8 or 10.
Zotac sells most of its ZBOX PCs as barebone systems, which means you'll have to supply your own storage, memory and operating system. But the company sells Plus models which comes with these components pre-loaded. The Zotac MI551 Plus model comes with 4GB RAM and 120GB M.2 SATA solid state disk (SSD) pre-installed, but no operating system. On the software front, it can run Windows 7, 8 or 10.
Connectivity slots include two DisplayPort jacks, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, a HDMI port, USB 3.1 Typc-C port (data transfer at 10Gbps), USB 3.0 port and USB 2.0 port. For wireless connectivity there is Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11ac. Also included is a 3-in-1 card reader (SD/SDHC and SDXC). The mini PC can drive up to three displays.
Zotac has not yet revealed the pricing and availability details of ZBOX M1551 mini PC.'

China brand Onda has launched a Intel mini PC in the form of Onda M2. The mini PC can easily fit in your home or office with its compact size and can be mounted on back of TV or monitor to be used as media streamer or editing documents.
The Onda M2 is equipped with an Intel quad-core J1900 processor with a turbo boost of 2.42GHz. It packs 4GB RAM and the graphics is handled by Intel HD Gen 7. It comes with 128GB solid state disk drive that is five times faster than the MMC offered in most mini PCs. There is no OS installed, so you will have to install and set up on your own.
Connectivity slots include a full sized HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, WiFi and a 3.5mm audio jack. All this is encased in an aluminum housing that measures 14 x 14 x 3 cm in size and weighs 520g.

InFocus, an American electronic company has announced a new portable desktop PC running Windows 10 called Kangaroo.
With just 124mm length, 80.5mm width and 12.9mm thickness, the Kangaroo is the world's smallest portable PC and is roughly the size of a smartphone, so you can slide it into a pocket. It weighs just 200g.
The InFocus Kangaroo is equipped with quad-core Intel Cherrytrail Atom x5-Z8500 processor clocked at 1.44GHz with a Burst frequency of 2.24GHz. It packs 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and has 32GB eMMC storage, further expandable via microSDXC card reader up to 128GB.
It comes with a removable base unit, which houses an HDMI port, USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 port and a DC power port. For wireless connectivity there is WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0. It also features Windows Hello fingerprint sensor.
The battery inside the Kangaroo keeps it running for four hours under 'casual use' and it has a micro-USB port for charging.
The InFocus Kangaroo is priced at $99 (Rs. 6,500) and is now available for purchase from online retailer Newegg in the United States. It will be available at Microsoft store starting mid-November.
China based Vensmile outed a new model mini PC called Vensmile i10. It has unique stand-up design (Cylindrical) which reminds us of the OnHub, a router from Google.
Vensmile i10 is equipped with Intel Bay Trail CR Z3735F processor paired with Intel HD Graphic (Gen 7) and 2GB RAM. It has 32GB eMMC device and there is a microSD card slot for further storage expansion. It runs Windows 10.
The mini PC also has a front mounted 2-megapixel camera, something we haven't seen on a mini PC yet. There is also a built-in microphone on the front. It has four USB 2.0 ports, so you can connect the Keyboard, Mouse or any other peripheral, plus a HDMI port, so that you can connect it to TV or monitor and get a full-fledged PC experience.
For wireless connectivity there is 802.11a/b/g/n dual band WiFi (2.4G and 5G) and Bluetooth 4.0. Also on board is RJ45 port for 100mbps LAN and headphone jack. It has a cooling system with the big aluminum hot sink covering the CPU/DDR/eMMC. The whole unit is powered by a DC jack. It weighs 300g, which makes it very easy to carry in your bag.

In China, Tronsmart is one of the most popular mini PC maker. Last month the company introduced a new Windows 10 mini PC / TV Box in the form of Tronsmart Ara X5. Now the little PC is available for purchase via Geekbuying for $150.
Tronsmart Ara X5 measures just 4.7 x 4.5 x 11 inches in size. Inside there is Cherry Trail Z8300 quad-core 1.8 processor, further aided by Intel HD GPU, 2GB RAM and has a storage capacity of 32GB.
Other features include 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x USB 3.0 port, HDMI and 10/100 Ethernet. There is a microSD card slot incase you need more storage and connectivity is provided by Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11ac dual band.

Mini PC maker Giada announced the F200, a mini-OC that can be mounted at the back of displays and has a fanless design for silent operation.
The Giada F200 is equipped with dual-core Intel Celeron N2870 Bay Trial processor with Intel HD graphics and 2GB RAM. The mini PC supports both eMMC (8GB or 16GB) and mSATA solid state storage options. It features a dustproof metal chasis and consumes just 4.3W of power when used.
Other features include Gigabit Ethernet controller, RJ45 port on the back panel, HDMI port USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and an optional VGA port. There is also a Mini PCI-Express slot through which you can install a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth module.
Giada F200 supports Windows 8.1, Linux and Android OS and can be widely applies in thin-client visualization terminals, digital signage and industry control.
Giada F200 carries the price tag of just $110. There is no word on its availability.

Zotac has announced a new addition to their range of fanless tiny desktop computer called the Zotac ZBOX CI322 nano. It features a special-passive cooled chassis that eliminates cooling fans to create zero noise.
ZOTAC ZBOX CI322 nano is powered by Intel Celeron J1900 Bay Trial processor (quad-core, 2.0 GHz up to 2.41 GHz)
with Intel HD graphics and includes integrated 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Gigabit Ethernet for wireless network connectivity. It has a DDR3L slot which can house up to 8GB RAM
Like most of Zotac's mini PCs, ZBOX CI322 nano comes in two model - barebones and Plus. For barebones model you will need to supply and install your own OS while the Plus model packs 8GB RAM and 64GB SSD.
Other features include DisplayPort, HDMI, 4 x USB 3.0 ports, USB 2.0 port, mic & headphone jacks, microSD card reader with an external adjustable antenna. It measures 127 x 127 x 45mm and has a compartment of storage size 2.5-inches. If neccesary the ZBOX C1322 nano can be mounted behind the monitor.
The pricing of Zotac ZBOX C1322 nano is not revealed, but is expected to be priced under US$ 150.

Microsoft showcased two new tiny computers running Windows 10 from Taiwanese manufacturers Quanta and FoxConn at Computex 2015 in Taipei.
Quanta's Compute Plug is a mini PC in a power adapter that can be plugged into the HDMI port and is meant to turn TVs and displays into smart computer that can be controlled using Cortana via Bluetooth remote or headset. It runs Windows 10. The Compute Plug design is of the old adapters, instead of having a wire running from the back, the device houses two USB 3.0 ports and HDMI. It also features WiFi and Bluetooth to connect keyboard, mouse and other peripherals.
Foxconn's Kangaroo is an ultra-portable desktop PC that is powered by Intel's Cherry Trail processor. It features fingerprint reader that supports Windows Hello and lets users login to Windows 10. It offers six hours of battery life and can turn a TV into a PC and can also be used as a streaming device or set top box.
Microsoft didn't reveal any other details of the two mini PCs, it's price or availability in the market.

Chinese tablet manufacturer Ainol, launched its first PC which happens to be smaller dubbed Ainol Mini PC. The PC resemble the shape of an external hard disk. The Mini PC mesures 5.7x4.5x0.6mm and weighs 335 grams. The Mini PC can fit inside your pocket.
The Ainol Mini PC is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735SD quad-core processor and packs 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage [microSD card support 128GB]. It runs Windows 8.1. Other features include an HDMI port, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11b/g/n WiFi.
The Mini PC is backed by 7000mAh battery. The Mini PC can be plugged directly into any external display without the need of an AC adapter. It can also be used as a portable battery charger to charge your gadgets.
There's also a Bluetooth remote control with a thumb keyboard and air mouse functionality.
