Dell XPS 13 with 13.3-inch QHD+ display launched in India
Earlier this month at an event in India, Dell launched the XPS 13, which is claimed to be the world's smallest 13-inch laptop with virtually borderless display. It was initially launched at CES 2015 earlier this year.
Dell XPS 13 sports 13.3-inch infinity touch QHD+ (3200 x 1800 pixels) display with an Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with an edge-to-edge screen with 5.2mm bezels. The laptop is powered by fifth-generation Intel Broadwell U Core processors from the 2.1GHz Core i3 to 3.2GHz Core i7 CPUs. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB or 512GB SSD with a choice
of 4GB or 8GB of RAM and Intel HD 4400 and NVIDIA GeForce GT
750M GPU graphics choices. It runs Windows 8.1.
On the connectivity front the XPS 13 include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, mini DisplayPort, multi-format card reader, NFC and Mircast support. Other features include stereo speakers with MaxxAudio, HD Webcam with dual array digital microphones and 52Whr battery. All these are encased in a body constructed of machined aluminum and carbon fiber.
The Dell XPS 13 will be available in different configuration, at a starting price of Rs. 70,990. It will be available via major brick and mortar stores across India.
