Sony Xperia Z3+ with Snapdragon 810 SoC, 20.7MP camera launched in India for Rs. 55,990

Sony has launched the Xperia Z3+ in India. Sony originally released the phone in Japan as the Xperia Z4, but recently announced it for international markets as Xperia Z3+.

The Xperia Z3+ sports an aluminium body with reinforced polycarbonate edges and offers exactly similar specs and design as the Xperia Z4 that was launched back in April.  The company touts that the Xperia Z3+ is "slim, sleek and stylish high-performing premium smartphone".

Sony Xperia Z3+ features 5.2-inch (1920x1080 pixels) Triluminos display with Live Colour LED powered by X-Reality engine 600. Under the hood there is a 64-bit octa-core (quad-core 1.5GHz + quad-core 2GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM. The phone comes with 32GB internal storage and microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB card supported). It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. 

Camera features includes 20.7-megapixel rear camera with pulsed LED flash, 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS BSI sensor, Bionz image processor and 4K video recording. There is also a 5.1MP front-facing camera with Exmor R sensor, 25mm wide-angle lens. Connectivity options include 4G LTE /3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS, MHL 3.0 and NFC. It is fuelled by 2930mAh battery with STAMINA mode and a quick charge feature that provides up to 5.5 hours of usage time in a 10-minute charge, and a full charge in 45 minutes.
Xperia Z3+ comes with Sony's DSEE HX audio technology with LDAC audio compression codec that delivers high-quality audio streaming via Bluetooth. It is IPX5, IPX8 certified for dust and water resistance.It is 6.9mm thick, weighs 144 grams and comes in White, Black, Copper and Aqua Green colors.

The Sony Xperia Z3+ is priced at Rs. 55,900 and comes bundled with a Quick Charger worth Rs. 3,490. It also has a screen protector installed out of the box. The Xperia Z3+ will be available across the country starting today.
