Lenovo sells 47,440 units of K3 Note in 5.2 seconds in first sale


Lenovo held the first flash sale of it latest 4G LTE enabled K3 Note in India earlier today via Flipkart. As expected Lenovo sold 47,440 units of the handset in just 5.2 seconds. The company revealed that over 5 Lakh people had registered for the first flash sale.

The main highlight of K3 Note is that it is the first smartphone in India to feature full HD 1080p display for less than Rs. 10,000. It was launched in India last month for Rs. 9,999.

To recap, The Lenovo K3 note features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and is powered by 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with Mali-T760 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, futher expandable via microSD card slot up to 32GB. It runs in Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top. Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity option include Dual-SIM support, 2G/3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the usual suite of sensors. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

The next flash sale of the K3 Note is scheduled for July 15 for which registration are now open.
