Panasonic Eluga Z with octa-core SoC, 2GB RAM launched for Rs. 13,490

Panasonic has launched a new smartphone in its Eluga series dubbed Eluga Z in India. It sports a premium CNC-finished metallic frame and measures 6.8mm around the waist.

The Panasonic Eluga Z features 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) OnCell HD Amoled display and is powered by 1.4GH octa-core processor (unspecified chipset) paired with 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and has dual-SIM slots.

Camerawise, it sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording capabilities. On the front there is a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS. A 2050mAh battery fuels the handset that supports fast charging. 

There is also support for 21 regional languages. Other features include option for single hand usage, stylish FitHome interface, gesture based functions (double tap to lock/unclock) and smart swipe functionality.  It comes in Champagne Gold, Ivory White and Midnight Blue colors.

Panasonic Eluga Z is priced at Rs. 13,490 and will be available in the country in the coming days. It comes bundled with a leather flip cover, transparent protective case and a screen guard.
