Acer launches Liquid Jade Z and Liquid Z410 in the U.S

Acer has announced two new smartphones for the U.S market, Liquid Jade Z and Liquid Z410. Both phones are unlocked  and works on all four carriers in the U.S. They have dual-SIM slot and run Android 4.4 KitKat, which is outdated, now that Android 6.0 Marshmallow is on its way.

Acer Liquid Jade Z features 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display and is powered by 1.5GHz MediaTeK MT6732 processor. The phone comes in two RAM/ROM models, 1GB RAM w/ 8GB storage and 2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage. It also supports microSD cards for more storage space. For imaging there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter. It is fueled by 2300mAh battery.

Acer Liquid Z410 comes with 4.5-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732M processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. There is also a 2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage model. It also supports microSD card for more storage. ,Camerawise it sports 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front shooter. It is backed by 2000mAh battery.

The Acer Liquid Z 1GB RAM w/ 8GB storage model is priced $229 and the 2GB RAM w/16GB storage model costs $249. Acer Liquid Z410 is priced at $129 for the 1GB RAM w/ 8GB storage model and costs $149 for the 2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage model. The Acer Liquid Z is already available for purchase in the US while the more affordable Liquid Z410 will be hit the market in September.
