Panasonic Eluga Icon with 13MP camera, 3500mAh battery, 4G LTE launched for Rs. 10,999
Panasonic has launched Eluga Icon, a camera-centric device. The handset sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front shooter.
The front camera has a feature called Blink Play, which lets users capture self-portraits by just blinking their eyes that triggers a three-second timer. The phone also features iSense gestures, which allow users to open apps and capture pictures by waving their hands over the device.
Panasonic Eluga Icon features 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor paired with Mali T760 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with ICON UI on top, has dual-SIM slot and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. It is fueled by 3500mAh battery.
The Panasonic Eluga Icon comes in Slate and Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 10,990. It is available exclusively from Amazon.in. The phone will be competing against the likes of the other 4G LTE-enabled devices in this range, the Motorola Moto G 3rd gen, Lenovo K3 Note, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Phicomm Passion P660, and the YU Yureka Plus.
