Acer Predator 15, Predator 17 gaming notebooks announced

Acer at IFA 2015 took wraps of its new Predator lineup, company's dedicated gaming brand under which it introduced Predator 15 and Predator gaming laptops. The gaming notebooks sports red accents and a black chassis with geometric lines and soft texture coating for better grip. They run on Windows 10.

Acer's Predator 15 notebook line includes models with 15.6-inch Full HD or 4K (3840x2160) Ultra HD panels while the Predator 17 notebooks feature 17.3-inch Full HD displays. Both support up to three displays including one NVIDIA G-SYNC monitor. 

Acer's new Predator gaming notebooks is equipped with 6th gen Intel Core i7 processor (Skylake), Intel HD 530 graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GTX980M grahics for handling graphics, supports up to 64GB DDR4 RAM and comes with enterprise level 512GB PCIe SSD which can transfer 10GB within 4 seconds.

The Predator notebooks also have 4x USB 3.0, HDMI, DisplayPort 1.2, RJ45, mic, earphone, SD card reader and Optical drive. Acer has packed full USB 3.1 Type-C which allows for faster file transfer in the Predator notebooks.

Other features include Killer DoubleShot which allows Ethernet and WiFi connections work together; Predator FrostCore triple fan design to reduce heat and keep the notebook cool and silent; PredatorSense gaming control panel, which allows gamers to customize keyboard's lighting and control gaming features with programmable keys and Predator SoundPound that delivers stellar audio performance with its four built-in speakers and subwoofers delivering 12 watts of sound.

Acer Predator 15 prices start at $1,499.99 | €1,599;  Predator 17 prices start at $1,599.99 | €1,799 and will hit North American and EMEA region market in November. It will be available in China in October at prices starting from ¥16,999.
