Asus Transformer Book T100 2-in-1 and Book Flip TP200SA convertible launched
Asus has launched two laptops with Hybrid form factors - Transformer Book T100HA and Transformer Book Flip TP20SA, which runs Windows 10 or Windows 10 pro out of the box. It was initially unveiled during Computex 2015 in June, but the Asus didn't provide the pricing and availability then.
The Asus Transformer Book T100HA is a tablet that comes with a detachable keyboard and connects to the Book T100HA using neodymium magnets. It sports a 10.1-inch WXGA display with 1280 x 800 pixels screen resolution and is equipped with Intel Atom 'Cherry Trail' x5-Z8500 processor clocked at 2.24GHz. It comes with 2GB or 4GB RAM and for storage there is 32GB, 64GB and 128GB options.
There is USB Type-C port, USB 2.0 port, Micro USB 2.0 port, Micro-HDMI port and microSD card reader . On the front there's a 2-megapixel camera for video chatting and on the rear sits a 5-megapixel camera sensor. It supports WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
The Book T100HA is fueled by 30Whr battery which could last for 12 hours under normal usage on a single charge. It comes in tin gray, silk white, aqua blue and rogue pink colors.
The Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA as the name suggests can flip 360 degrees around its hinge. It has an 11.6-inch WXGA IPS display with screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and is powered by an Intel Pentium N3700 quad-core processor or you can choose a dual-core Celeron N3050 chipset. It can be configured with up to 4GB RAM and houses either a 32GB eMMC or 64GB eMMC in-built storage. Also there is an option for 128GB SSD drive.
The Book Flip TP200SA gets a USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 ports, a USB Type-C port and Micro-HDMI port. The 38Whr battery keeps the Book Flip TP200SA for 8 hours on a single charge.
