Dell Venue 8, Venue 10 Pro 5000 Series tablets with USB Type-C announced

Dell has announced two new Windows 10 tablets from its 5000 series, the Venue 8 Pro and Venue Pro 10 designed for use in healthcare, retail, education and manufacturing industries.

Both the tablets are equipped with quad-core Intel Atom x5 processor and support 2 x 2 WFi, LTE and optional NFC connectivity. They also come with Active pen featuring Wacom technology for drawing and sketching.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro 5000 series comes with either 8-inch HD (1280x800) or FHD (1920x1200) touch display. Dell will launch a new model equipped with USB Type C port in 2016.

 The larger Venue 10 Pro 5000 series tablet sports a 10.1-inch FHD (1920 x 1200) touch display and comes with a 2-in-1 keyboard to switch between tablet and laptop modes. It includes USB Type C, USB Type A, micro HDMI ports, microSD card reader. It has dual-speakers and microphones for easier interaction with Windows 10's personal assistant, Cortana.

Dell Venue 8, Venue 10 Pro 5000 Series tablets prices start at $229 and $ 429 respectively, and are scheduled to hit the market in November.
