Huawei Nexus gets benchmarked


Huawei made Nexus mobile device codenamed Huawei Angler has made it to benchmark database- Geekbench and GFXBench to have its key specs detailed.

As per Geekbench listing, Huawei's first Nexus device  will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow, will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC clocked at 1.55GHz and pack 3GB RAM. On Geekbench Huawei made Nexus had a single-core score of 1156, with a multi-core tally of 3641.

The GFXBench listing is in line with Geekbench listing but adds additional specs including 5.7-inch QHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels screen resolution and Adreno 430 GPU. The listing also reveals that Huawei made Nexus will have 32GB inbuilt storage of which 24GB will be user accessible. For imaging there is 12 or 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and support for 4K video recording. Front shooter is 7-megapixel. Connectivity features and sensors metioned on GFXBench include accelerometer, barometer, Bluetooth, compass, GPS, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, NFC, pedometer, proximity sensor, and Wi-Fi.

Huawei made Nexus device is said to come with USB Type-C port. Now the only mystery of the device is its battery capacity.

The Huawei made Nexus is expected to be announced alongside LG Nexus 5X at an event in San Francisco on September 29. Both Nexus devices may then go up for pre-order on Octorber 13.
