Xiaomi Mi 4c launch date set for September 22


Xiaomi has officially announced that it will unveil the Mi 4c on September 22 at an event in China. The Mi 4c is said to be an advanced version of Mi 4i, which was launched back in April and will be a mid-range offering of the same series.

Xiaomi Co-founder and President Lin Bin via a Weibo post revealed that Xiaomi Mi 4c will be available in two RAM/ROM variants- 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 2GB RAM/32GB storage.

According to earlier rumors, the Mi 4c will sport a 5-inch 1080p display, powered by Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 processor, run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based MIUI 7, come with 13-megaapixel rear w/ dual LED flash & 5-megapixel front camera, 4G LTE & dual-SIM support and a 3080mAh battery. Also a report mentioned that the Mi 4c will be Xiaomi's first mobile device to feature USB Type-C support.

Leaks coming out from China reveals that the Mi 4c prices start at CNY 1499 (Rs. 15,600) for the base model. We should know all the official details about the Mi 4c on September 22.
