Intex Aqua Glam female-centric phone launched for Rs. 7,690

Intex has launched Aqua Glam, a phone targeted at Woman. The company calls it "maiden offering for females". The phone comes in Pink and Champagne colors, studded with Swarovski crystals on the sides, home button and around the camera ring. 

Aqua Glam also comes pre-loaded with several women-centric apps like MakeUp app that offers makeup simulation, and makeover effects, Sanjeev Kapoor recipes app, Preksha Meditation app, Sashakt app that lets the user set an emergency number, which will send a message with the location of the user in case of uninvited situations ASK ME, Quikr, Newshunt, Clean Master, Myntra, InMobi, Intex service, Opera Mini and more.

The Intex Aqua Glam features 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB on-board storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

For imaging, there is 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and 8-megapixel selfie camera. Camera features include panorama, face beauty mode, live photo mode, gesture capture, smile shot, HDR, face detection, Voice capture, and anti-shake for the front camera.

The dual-SIM Aqua Glam supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. The phone also supports MediaTek's HotKnot connectivity, similar to NFC in terms of applicatio. It is fueled by 1850mAh battery, measures 139.3 x 69 x 7.4mm and weighs 116.2g.

Intex's women-centric Aqua Glam is priced at Rs. 7,690 and will be available across different channels in the country.
