MIUI 7 roll out for supported Xiaomi devices begins on October 27


Update: Xiaomi has outed the list of devices that will get the MIUI 7 update- Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi Pad, Mi Note, Redmi 1S 3G, Redmi Note 4G and Redmi 2/Prime. Xiaomi said that it is working hard to get other devices supported as soon as possible.

Xiaomi also said that it is working hard to get the MIUI 7 update to other devices ASAP]  Xiaomi has announced that it will roll out the MIUI 7 global stable build to supported devices starting October 27.  On the same date the Chinese version of MIUI 7 will also roll out.

"We are really excited to announce MIUI 7 global stable build for MIUI fans all around the world. With two months of testing and optimization, MIUI 7 global stable version is to roll out from Oct. 27, 2015. Yours by design! Get ready for upgrade!," read the MIUI forum post. 

Users would be receaving OTA update via the Update app, however, for those who cannot wait for OTA update, they can manually download and install the ROM package via MIUI page on October 27, when it is released.

Some of the highlights of the new MIUI 7 include new themes, XXL Text size, Baby album, Showtime, up to 10%  better battery life for daily use, optimized system response time by up to 30 percent, Data Saver powered by Opera Max, Child Mode, and more. Check out all the new MIUI 7 features here.

Unfortunately the list of supported devices are not announced, however, Xiaomi says, it will out the first list of supported devices soon that will get the MIUI 7 stable update.

However, we can expect Redmi 1s, Redmi 2, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Redmi Note 3G and Redmi Note 4G to receive the MIUI 7 update, as they were the first device to test the MIUI 7 beta build.
