Polaroid Cube action camera and Zip portable printer launched in India

Polaroid, a U.S based company, best know for its instant films and camera, have launched the Cube action camera and Zip portable printer in India. 

The Polaroid Cube is a mini camera offered in multiple colors and comes with a magnetic base, so it can be mounted on metal surfaces like bicycle handlebars, helmets and more. It is equipped with 6-megapixel image sensor that is capable for recording 1080p videos and comes with a 124-degree wide-angle lens. There is also a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB memory cards. The built-in battery offers up to 90 minutes of video recording. The camera is also weatherproof and shockproof, making it an ideal device for outdoor photography. It measures 35mm across all dimensions, weighs 9g and comes in Black, Blue and Red color.

The Polaroid Zip printer lets you instantly print images captured from your smartphone. It has NFC connectivity to pair with smartphones and utilises a special Zink paper to print images without the need for ink cartridges. The printer can produce 2 x 3-inch photos on-the-go. It has a 500mAh built-in battery that is capable to printing 25 photos on a single charge. The Zip printer measures 119x73.6x22.8mm, weighs 187g, and will be available in Black, White, Blue and Red.

The Polaroid Cube action camera is priced at Rs. 9,990 and the Zip Printer, Rs. 12,350. They will be available exclusively on Flipkart in the coming days. 

There is also a WiFi version of the Cube, dubbed Cube+ which will launch in December. It can be controlled through a smartphone app.
