Possible specs, availability and price of OnePlus mini leaked

Last month, alleged specs of the OnePlus mini was outed via AnTuTu benchmark result. Now we are getting more details of the OnePlus mini regarding additional specs, launch date and more.

The new details are in line with the earlier AnTuTu benchmark result leak that reveals that the OnePlus mini will have a 1080p screen, octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, 2GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage and 13-megapixel camera with LED flash.

Additional details that have now surfaced is that the OnePlus mini will have a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 or 4 with Oleophobic and hydrophobic coating. It will have a USB Type-C port with fast charging (might be limited to USB 2.0 speeds) and a fingerprint sensor on the back, instead of home button on the OnePlus 2.

OnePlus mini will likey use the same 5-inch 1080p display and IMX258 camera as used in the Xiaomi Mi 4c, so there is no dual-camera setup as rumored earlier. Front facing camera will be 5-megapixel. It will run Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, support 4G LTE connectivity and 3,000-3,100 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery

The OnePlus mini is expected to be unveil before 2015 end and is said to be priced around $250. The device will mark the company's foray into the mass market segment and might have another winner in its hands if the said specs and price are right.
