Sony outs list of Xperia devices that will get Android Marshmallow
Sony has outed list of Xperia devices that will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Unfortunately, there is no mention of Xperia and Xperia Z1 range in the list, but Sony says that it has been working hard to bring the major update to as many Xperia devices as possible, so we can expect more devices to be added to the list in the future.
List of Xperia devices confimred to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update
Sony did not reveal the exact time-frame for the rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the said devices. The update will come with Sony's own features and functionality and improvements. Sony also promised to share more details on the software upgrade soon.

- Xperia Z3 Compact

As usual the update will roll out in a phased process and timing and availability will vary by carriers and countries.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is already available for Nexus devices, plus HTC and Motorola has already confirmed the devices to get the latest Android update.
