HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM with 13MP OIS camera launched in China

HTC has introduced a new Desire range smartphone, the Desire 828 Dual SIM. The handset is listed on HTC China website and is also available for pre-orders at CNY 1599 (Rs. 16,500). The HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM is the first in the Desire series lineup to feature OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).

Spec-wise, the HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense.

For imaging, it is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI and OIS. It can record 1080p videos as well. On the front there is a UltraPixel camera with BSI sensor. It comes with the usual suite of connectivity including WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, 3G and 4G LTE TDD which supports Indian networks.

The Desire 828 Dual SIM is fueled by 2800mAh battery. There is also the redesigned front-firing BoomSound stereo speakers, which is complemented by Dolby Audio as well.

There are no details when the HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM will launch outside Chinese market.
