InFocus M812, M370 to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by December


U.S based InFocus entered the Indian market back in March this year, with the launch of M2, a budget smartphone. Since then the brand has been launching several smartphones, including high-end one, with decent specs.

Now InFocus has announced Android 6.0 Marshmallow rollout out plans for its smartphones. Two of the company's smartphone- the M812 and M370 will start receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by end of this year, which is December 2015. As of now it is not known, if the release will be OTA or will be through system.

InFocus has not announced when its other smartphone will get the Marshmallow update.

The InFocus smartphones come with Inlife UI on top, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow is also expected to come with a slightly different interface on top of Marshmallow.

The InFocus M812 and M370 were launched back in July running Android Lollipop and went on sale last month for Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 5,999 respectively. 

Android 6.0 Marshmallow concentrates on six major things- App permission, Web experience, App Links, Mobile Payment, Fingerprint support and Power & Charging. There will also be native support for USB Type-C. To know the new features in detail click here.
