Kingston outs HyperX Savage USB 3.1 Flash Drive


HyperX, a product division of Kingston Technology introduced another member to its HyperX Savage line of products called HyperX Savage USB 3.1 Flash drive. This product replaces the Data Traveller HyperX 3.0 with the latest 3.1 Gen. 1 functionality USB technology. It offers blazing fast

It come in three storage models- 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The 64GB model delivers 350MB/s read speed and 180MB/s write speed, while the 128GB and 256GB offers read speed of up to 350MB/s and write speed of up to 250MB/s.

The Flash Drive is designed to look stylish to go with the next gen PCs and consoles giving it a metallic red Hyper X logo on a black background. It can be used on various platforms including desktops, laptops and gaming consoles. The flash drive being USB 3.1 is backward compatible and can be used with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.

The HyperX Savage USB Flash Drive is backed by a five-year warranty. Kingston did not reveal the pricing details, but its was spotted in Europe listed at around €36 (Rs. 2,500) for the 64GB, €76 (5,300) for the 128GB and €120 (Rs. 8,500) for the 256GB version. It is expected to be available across India by Mid-December 2015.
