Rufus Cuff is a smartphone/smartwatch hybrid, coming in 2016
Rufus Cuffs is a smartwatch by US-based Rufus labs, which looks like a hybrid of smartphone/tablet designed to be worn as a smartwatch, thanks to its 3.2-inch display, the largest display in any smartwatch. The team behind the smartwatch refer to it as a smart communicator rather than just a smartwatch.
The 3.2-inch TFT display is a touchscreen and has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass to protect it against scratches. It is equipped with a TI Cortex A9 CPU and has storage variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. There is also a front facing camera for capturing photos and videos. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and supports Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS connectivity. It is fueled by 1175mAH battery.
The Rufus Cuff has dual-microphones and built in speakers, which allows users to make and receive calls. The camera on your smartphone can be used and manipulated directly from the device. It has a full keyboard which allows you to type messages easily. It supports Android and iOS devices. The device is spill and splash resistant making it easier for daily use.
The Rufus Cuff comes in Jet Black, Turbo Red and White Out color. Prices start at $249 (Rs. 16,300) and is now up for pre-order.
