Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 (SM-W2016) flip phone gets TENAA certification


A new Samsung flip phone with model number SM-W2016 has been certified in China by regulatory agency TENAA, which is most likely to be the Galaxy Golden 3, the next iteration of the flip phone series. Unfortunately, there are no images posted on TENAA database.

The SM-W2016 is being called as Galaxy Golden 3 as the original Galaxy Golden carried the model number SM-W2014 and Galaxy Golden 2 had the model number SM-W2015. It is worth noting that SM-W2015 (Galaxy Golden 2) got certified by TENAA, but was never released, so it is not known, if Samsung will release this device.

As per TENAA listing, the Galaxy Golden 3 features two 3.9-inch HD (1280 x 768 pixels) displays and is equipped with an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz clubbed with 3GB RAM along with 64GB of expandable storage. Camerawise, it sports 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The dimensions of the handset measure 120.4 × 61 × 15.1 mm and weighs 204 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 will come in Gold color, according to the listing. Unfortunately, there are no images posted on TENAA database.
