ZTE Blade S7 with 13MP rear and front camera announced


ZTE has announced the Blade S7, a premium mid-range smartphone and the successor to the Blade S6 which was launched in January. The phone has aluminium build instead of plastic used on Blade S6 and 2.5D Gorilla Glass on the front and back.

The ZTE Blade S7 features 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with a coating of Gorilla Glass. Inside there is a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, further expandable via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with MiFavor 3.2 UI on top.

For imaging, there is 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Laser Auto Focus. The front facing camera is also 13-megapixel and comes with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and LED flash.

On the connectivity front it supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery. The Blade S7 is also equipped with a rectangular fingerprint sensor in its home button, which has the ability to control several applications and encrypted files, throughout your pre-saved gestures. 

The device measures 142 x 67 x 7.2mm, weighs 131g and comes in Lemon Green, Rose Gold, Diamond White and Space Gray colors.

The ZTE Blade S7 will go on sale in Thailand first, followed by rest of Asian countries. There are no details on pricing and availability.
