SeniorWorld's easyfone is India's most senior friendly feature phone


SeniorWorld, India's first company focused on the holistic needs of seniors has launched the 'easyfone', a senior-friendly feature phone with special features aimed at making it ideal for usage by seniors.

The phone comes with a easy-to--read large screen with big font, large dialing keys, a cradle charger, which make phone charging easier and Photo dial with which Seniors can dial their favorite contacts through a single key press. Users can store up to eight contacts with pictures for quick calling.

There's also a physical SOS button at the back of the device in case of emergency. Pressing the SOS button, sets off a chain of 4 automated actions including calls and SMS to five emergency contacts with critical details such as location of users, doctors contact, medical insurance, etc. In case the outgoing calls are unanswered, the phone automatically picks calls received in the next 30 minutes. A loud siren is also emitted to attract the attention of other people in the surrounding are.

The easyfone offers a comfortable dial pad with big button and a 5.6cm display on which digits and texts are displayed in a large font. The dial pad offers voice prompts while dialing number. Users can even choose to hide specific menu items and features they don't want. Other features include Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, FM Radio, English and Hindi menus, phone lock with side key, a VGA camera, a torch magnifier, a whitelist/blacklist feature, 8GB storage to store media files and microSD card for storage expansion.


The easyfone is priced at Rs. 3,375 and is available via seniorworld.com, Amazon India, Flipkart and ebay India. SeniorWorld is also offering a pick-and-drop facility with easyfone with the warranty period for service-related issues.
