Wickedleak Wammy Note 5 with 4GB RAM launched for Rs. 16,990


Wickedleak has launched the successor of the Wammy Note 4 smartphone, called Wammy Note 5. The phone boasts 4GB RAM, making Wickedleak the second Indian mobile brand to incorporate that amount of RAM after YU Televenture, which recently introduced the YU Yutopia. The Wickedleak Wammy Note 5 offers a premium design and is made out of aviation-grade aluminium. 

The Wammy Note 5 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with One Glass Solution tech and a 2.5D curved glass. Inside there is a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 64-bit processor aided by Mali T860 GPU and 4GB RAM. There is no word on storage, but we can assume it to be 16GB or 32GB. The storage can be topped via microSD card slot.

For photography, it is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor and an LED flash. Front facing camera for clicking selfies is 8-megapixel which comes with OmniVision sensor. On the software front, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and will be upgraded to Android Marshmallow in the near future. The dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE (both Indian LTE bands), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C port, USB OTG and A-GPS. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery.

The Wickedleak Wammy Note 5 carries the price tag Rs. 16,990 and will be available via the company's website. Registration are now open and the sale will begin staring January 15, 2016. With the said price tag, the Wammy Note 5 is currently the more affordable smartphone with 4GB of RAM.
